Introducing Hannah May

Hannah May is a captivating folk pop artist from North Queensland with an array of releases under her belt including her latest “Higher Heights’.

In 2019, May courageously ventured beyond the comforts of her hometown, Hamilton, New Zealand, to pursue her dream as a solo country artist in Australia. Following a fruitful couple of years exploring the realm of country pop and launching several catchy hits, she eventually discovered her niche in the domain of indie folk pop.

From early days on The X Factor NZ as part of the country duo Mae Valley to her recent sold-out headline show in Brisbane, Hannah has been making waves on the New Zealand and Australian music scene. Despite being an independent and self-managed artist, Hannah has amassed an impressive 350,000+ streams across her music and has collaborated and played alongside a number of talented Australian artists and producers including Tay Oskee, Boatkeeper, Tim Goodburn, Austin Mckay, Pete McCredie & Russell Morris. Along with local collaborations, May has also scored opening spots for international touring superstars Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini.

With the new year approaching, May has been busy in the studio cooking up new tunes for her long-awaited debut album set to be released in 2024.
